An inspiring team building activity that broke a Guiness world record! The client’s vision was an activity to highlight the company’s protective culture, where employees can thrive and nourishing a collective future. Taking that into consideration, we searched for the biggest umbrella ever made in a human logo and proposed to break that record! An activity that enhances cooperation, promotes a sense of belonging, and results in a high-impact visual representation of teamwork.
480 employees participated, physically arranged to form an umbrella. First, we needed the right location. Zappeion was the perfect choice, combining layout flexibility and a historical touch. The umbrella was first sketched on the ground and the attendees worked together to stand in specific positions to recreate it, all under the guidance and encouragement of our facilitators.
The final formation was captured by a drone, making this moment last forever. An official Guiness Adjudicator was present to verify the authenticity of the attempt and announce the results.
